An Among Us update will bring more action, more people, more thrills and spills, and yes, bloodshed. Innersloth does have enormous ambitions for Among Us participants. This follows on the heels of a recent update in which The Airship map was published (April, 2021). Not only was it the biggest upgrade in years, but it was also the largest map in this game to date.
However, the devs have more intriguing additions in store for Among Us users, including a new map. Innersloth has been teasing new features, and it just announced everything new that would be featured in Among Us at the Summer Games Fest.
The next big Among Us update will add support for 15 players to the game. At the moment, each game may have a maximum of 10 participants. This will be raised to 15, which will include additional colours such as Tan, Maroon, Gray, Rose, Banana, and Coral. This version will also include a minor graphical upgrade, mobile controller compatibility, and other features. Innersloth, on the other hand, did not specify when this upgrade will be released, just that additional information will be released shortly.
Following the Among Us update, Innersloth has a few additional items in the works for the game that will most likely take a little longer to update. A new map for Among Us has been announced, although no information have been released. After The Skeld, MIRA HQ, Polus, and The Airship, this will be the fifth map in Among Us. The next map will most likely be published in a few months, as The Airship took a long time to debut after it was announced.
Innersloth is also working on Among Us accomplishments. It used the example of imposters killing five people to gain an accomplishment. Among Us will also have new characters such as a sheriff and a scientist. Innersloth has also stated that Hide and Seek mode will be included.
Moreover, this is already an unofficial mode in Among Us, where the impostor is discovered early on and players must complete chores before being murdered, but they cannot report dead corpses. Among Us will also receive new visor cosmetics, as well as new colours and skins. There is even a reference to napping at some point, although we have no idea what it means. However, we do know that there is a lot planned for Among Us fans, which might make the game even more enjoyable than it is today.
