The Flip 6 is the latest addition to JBL’s famous Flip Bluetooth speaker series. The most notable difference is that the newest speaker is now fully dustproof owing to its IP67 classification, whereas the Flip 5 was just technically waterproof (IPX7). Its Bluetooth version has also been upgraded from 4.2 to 5.1, and the JBL logo has been changed. The battery life remains constant at approximately 12 hours. When it debuts on sale in the United States in December, it will cost $129.95, up from the Flip 5’s current price of $119.95.

JBL is launching a slew of new audio devices today, including the Flip 6. The Partybox 110 and 710, two big robust speakers with guitar and mic inputs for spontaneous music-making, will be available for $399.95 and $799.95, respectively.

JBL offers the $99.95 Quantum 350 gaming headset (available this month), as well as the truly wireless Reflect Flow Pro ($179.95, available November), Tune 230NC and Tune 130NC (both $99.95 and available October), and Endurance Race ($79.95, available October). Finally, the JR 460NC, a set of $79.95 noise-cancelling over-ear headphones geared at youngsters, will be available for purchase this month.
