In India, Apple customers now have three additional payment options for App Store purchases. Users had to provide their credit or debit card information to purchase app subscriptions, make in-app payments, and more in the past. Apple users, on the other hand, may now pay with their UPI account, RuPay, or net banking. By adding details of one’s UPI account for monthly iCloud subscriptions, auto-renewal of paid apps and even use a wallet to buy new apps or get paid features in an app.

Apple has alerted a number of iPhone customers in India about the addition of three new payment options. “New ways to pay for the content you love. You can now use UPI, RuPay cards, and net banking to pay on the App Store.” Apple has outlined how customers may add the new and more convenient payment choices on a separate website. Users must upgrade to the latest version of iOS, iPad, or macOS in order to see the new payment alternatives.

Here’s how to add a new payment option to your iPhone or iPad:

— On your iPhone or iPad, go to the Settings menu.

— Select the Apple ID icon at the top of the screen.

— Tap Add Payment Method to add a new payment method.

— Apple will walk you through adding your UPI or RuPay information, so just follow the steps and fill up the blanks.

— Using the Edit option, you may also delete an existing payment method. Multiple payment methods can be added to your Apple ID.

You may also use your MacBook to add additional payment methods. Here’s how to use your Mac to add RuPay or UPI to your account.

Go to the App Store and sign in using your Apple ID and password.

To manage payments, go to View Information and then Manage Payments.

Tao on Payment Methods, then Payments. You may enter details of your UPI, Rupay, or net banking account by following the same steps.
